Story
I am a keen runner and my dream has always been to do a Marathon before I turn 45!! That time is edging closer and having not got in to London via ballot (after 9 or so attempts) I thought my goal wouldn't come true! Our co director suggested running for Modern Slavery who AoEC are avid supporters of, and I researched and was lucky to land myself a spot. Modern Slavery happens all around us, in our towns, cities, counties, countries, and right under our noses and it's time to bring this really taboo subject into the lime light. Dig deep for such an important cause close to the AoEC's heart and I will do you proud! Diolch yn fawr x
- £15 could pay for a simple hygiene pack for someone who has just been rescued from slavery in the UK
- £50 could help provide access to therapeutic services, helping a survivor come to terms with their experience
- £100 can help provide essential training to the police officers, prosecutors and the judiciary to help ensure those responsible for trafficking are brought to justice
