Story

My name is Mantas one of my long time goals has been to run 100 Marathons, a long way I am raising Money for charity trying to help others. I am settling a deadline to finish this by 31 of December 2024. It is estimated that more than 40 million people worldwide are in slavery - 136,000 in the UK alone.  Victims like 17-year-old Maria* from Romania, who was taken from a friend's house, sold for a few thousand pounds, brought to the UK and then abused by countless men.  Maria’s story, unfortunately, is not unusual. But Justice and Care are building a force to win the fight against human trafficking. They bring together experts from different disciplines to tackle human trafficking. They focus on destroying the criminal networks responsible, whilst employing an end to end transnational approach; incorporating prevention work in communities, supporting investigations, providing care to survivors and working with governments to spark systemic change.
