A sobering conversation in October 2023 with a sponsor for Justice and Care opened my eyes to a scale of modern slavery and human trafficking on my own doorstep that I had no appreciation of. I was convinced of the value of the work done by Justice and Care. They can only do this with charitable contributions and I hope you will be able to help me support them in 2024 by donating to my half marathon run in March at Hampton Court. Thank you for anything you can spare to this often underrepresented charitable cause.
- £15 could pay for a simple hygiene pack for someone who has just been rescued from slavery in the UK
- £50 could help provide access to therapeutic services, helping a survivor come to terms with their experience
- £100 can help provide essential training to the police officers, prosecutors and the judiciary to help ensure those responsible for trafficking are brought to justice
